Anemia

Anemia is a condition in which there is too few blood cells in the bloodstream.

  • Put 2 - 3 dates in a glass and pour boiling water over it. Leave the mixture overnight and drink it in the morning. Do this for 2 weeks.
  • Soak 2 - 3 dried figs in 1 cup water overnight. In the morning eat the figs with milk. Do this every day for 1 month.
  • One ripe banana with 1 tablespoon honey to be taken 1 - 2x a day.
  • Take 1 cup pomegranate juice mixed with 1 teaspoon powdered cinnamon and 2 tablespoons honey every day.
  • Eat apples for its high iron, arsenic and phosphorus content. Drink the juice of 1 kg (2 lbs) apples daily ½ hour before meals and before going to bed.
  • Boil 6 teaspoons crushed aniseed with 6 red rose petals in 1½ cup water. Filter out and drink twice daily.
  • Eat 1 cup yogurt with ½ - 1 teaspoon turmeric on an empty stomach morning and afternoon. Don't take at night.
  • Pound a handful of spinach and mix with a little water. Squeeze for the juice. Mix the juice with 1 whole egg and blend well. Add 1 tablespoon honey. Stir, then drink 1x daily.
  • Honey is the best blood enricher by raising corpuscle content. The darker the honey the more minerals it contains. One 1 teaspoon in the morning or evening to be taken everyday for anemia.
  • Almonds contain copper in organic form in the range of 1.15mg per 100 gram. Copper with iron and vitamins in almonds act as a catalyst for the formation of new blood cells, needed for anemia. Eat a few almonds everyday.
  • Vitamin C promotes iron absorption, take this by squeezing sour lemon on food.
  • Apricot is good for anemia. Eat it for its high iron content.
  • Do not drink tea or coffee immediately after meals.
