Appendicitis

Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix.

  • No food except water for two days and have complete rest in bed, with hot compress placed over the appendicitis pain area several times daily. On the third day onwards drink fruit juices only for 3 days and the subsequent 4-5 days all fruits only 3x daily. After which consume daily well-balanced nutritious meals of seeds, nuts, grains, fresh vegetables and fruits.
  • For chronic appendicitis, take no food except water for one, or half a day. Then take 1 glass milk every 2 hours from 8am to 8pm. The next day take 1 glass milk every 1½ hours and on the third day, take it every hour. On subsequent days gradually increase to 1 glass intake every half hour. If uncomfortable with the amount of intake, reduce it and don't force yourself. Keep to this regime for 2-3 weeks. After which practice a well-balanced diet of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables to improve and maintain your appendicitis health.
  • Simmer for ½ hour over a low flame 1 liter of cold water that has been added with 1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds. Strain the mixture and drink it warm regularly to prevent the appendix from accumulating toxins.
  • Drink 2x daily 100ml each beet and cucumber juices mixed with 300ml carrot juice.
  • Grate a one-inch fresh turmeric root and mix with a pinch of salt, ¼ teaspoon brown sugar and ½ teaspoon lime juice in 1 cup hot water. Drink when warm 2x a day in the morning and afternoon until appendicitis condition improves.
  • Take 1 liter of buttermilk daily.
  • Include whole wheat in the diet.
  • If regularly afflicted with appendicitis, exercise cautions in avoiding constipation through the constipation treatments.
