Rheumatoid arthritis causes chronic inflammation of the joints, and sometimes the tissue around the joints, as well as other organs in the body. It usually lasts for years, sometimes without symptoms for long periods.

fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis treatment
  • Eat apples, they neutralize the uric acid that cause arthritis. Also, boil apples and apply to the affected areas as paste.
  • For the treatment of severe arthritis, take just raw green vegetable juices mixed with carrot, celery and beet juices everyday for 1 week to dissolve the deposits accumulated around the joints and tissues. This fast can be repeated every 2 months. Fresh pineapple juice can also be used in treatment as the enzyme bromelain in pineapple reduces swelling and inflammation in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Slice thinly raw potato (not skinned) and place in a large glass filled with cold water. Leave overnight. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. Alternatively, take fresh and raw potato juice mixed 1:1 with water first thing in the morning before anything else is taken.
  • Soak black gingerly seeds in water overnight and take both the seeds and water first thing in the morning to prevent frequent joint pains.
  • Massage stiff and aching joints with warm coconut oil or mustard oil mixed with camphor to increase blood supply and reduce inflammation and stiffness in rheumatoid arthritis treatment.
  • Apply on the affected area vitamin E and/or ginger or take ginger tea orally everyday with vitamin E. The tea is made with half a thumb-sized ginger, sliced and added to a cup of hot water, then filtered before drinking. Vitamin E protects the joints and ginger relieves the pain.
  • Avoid weight gain or obesity as it bears pressure on weight-bearing joints and hinders the smooth functioning of tendons, ligaments and muscles as part of the rheumatoid arthritis treatment regime.
