Bursitis

Inflammation of the bursae, lubricating pads separating tendons from bones in parts of the body

  • Add water to 1 teaspoon sandalwood powder to make paste. Apply on the bursitis.
  • Rub with sesame oil, eucalyptus oil or tea tree oil gently on the bursitis area.
  • To clear the toxins that accumulate in the colon and lead to bursitis, take 1 cup hot milk with 2-3 teaspoons castor oil added at bedtime.
  • Avoid ice-cold drinks, hot, spicy and fermented foods and beans so as not to aggravate bursitis.

Bone health

  • Almonds provide calcium, magnesium, manganese, and phosphorus - minerals that contribute towards bone mineral density.
