For severe cases of diarrhea, observe a complete fast for two days taking only hot water to replace
loss of fluids. When condition improves slightly, juices of fruits may be taken. Thereafter meals can
be increased gradually to include cooked vegetables, whole rice and soured milks. Wait until complete
recovery before taking raw foods.

Take 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar before and in-between meals, or mix 2 teaspoons in 1 glass boiled
or mineral water and take several times a day.

Eat raw, young guava leaf.

Keep in storage papaya seeds that have been dried out under the sun. Eat about 10 of them when
inflicted with diarrhea.

Boil 3 cloves of crushed garlic in milk. Take every night. Or take garlic pills daily. Garlic acts as natural antibiotic, aids digestion and
destroys parasites.

Take cooked or baked apples.

Take 1 tablespoon (unprocessed) bran daily with water or mixed in food.

For diarrhea due to indigestion, ground a piece
of dry ginger with rock salt. Take ¼ teaspoon with a small piece of jaggery
to aid digestion.

Grind till fine 3 teaspoons ginger with 5 teaspoons aniseed and mix with ½ teaspoon honey. Take 1
teaspoon of the mixture in tea 3x a day and before going to sleep at night.

Soak hibiscus flower in a glass of water and leave overnight. Squeeze the flower the next morning until
its juice fills a glass. Drink this juice throughout the day.
