  • Mix a pinch of black pepper, 3 tablespoons curd, 6-8 chopped basil leaves and ¼ teaspoon sea salt. Take this mixture 4-5x in a week.
  • Add 3-4 cups water to a grated papaya, and boil for 10 minutes. Then strain the mixture. Drink and finish the filtered part throughout the day.
  • Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon into half a cup of warm milk. Drink this mixture.
  • Drink a mixture of ½ teaspoons each lemon and ginger juices and ¼ pepper powder.
  • Drink a mixture of 1 teaspoon each mint and ginger juices and 1 teaspoon honey to give relief.
  • Swallow ½ - 1 teaspoon nutmeg.
  • Mix and drink ½ cup each yogurt and water with one-eight teaspoon fresh grated ginger added.
  • Chew with a little salt 2-3 pieces of the inner flesh of pomegranate.
  • Mix 1 teaspoon nutmeg, a few pinches of cinnamon powder and 1 teaspoon honey (and an optional pinch of powdered clove) in 1 cup warm milk.
  • Take a mixture of ½ cup blackberry juice, ½ teaspoon each powdered cinnamon and honey and 1 mashed banana.
  • Mix ½ cup each yogurt and water. Add a little (about one-eight teaspoon) fresh grated ginger. Drink the mixture.
  • Take turmeric rhizome, juice or with water in powdered form for its antiseptic properties.
  • For chronic diarrhea, eat ripe papayas regularly.
  • Take starchy liquids such as arrowroot water , barley water, rice gruel and coconut water to replace lost fluid and bind the stools. Also take bananas as they pectin and encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria.
  • Avoid drinking, especially cold drinks, while eating as it slows down the digestive process. Also avoid caffeine and alcohol as more hydrochloric acids are produced in their consumption.
  • Drink plenty of water and avoid spicy, hot and oily food.
