Go on a fast subsisting on orange juice and water or buttermilk only until acute symptoms of dysentery
vanishes. After which rice, curd, fresh ripe fruits, especially bael, banana, pomegranate and skimmed
milk can be taken. Take solid foods gradually.

Fruits and vegetables are most essential to a future dietary plan in preventing dysentery.

Drink a mixture of 1 teaspoon each mint and ginger juices and 1 teaspoon honey to relieve dysentery.

Three to six crushed garlic cloves to be taken with 1 tsp honey 1-2x a day.

Soak 2 teaspoons fenugreek seeds in 1 glass coconut water or in buttermilk for 2-3 hours. Filter
before drinking.

Drink a mixture of 2 teaspoons lime juice, 2 teaspoons sugar and 1 cup water.

Add 1 tsp honey to 1 cup water that has been boiled with 5 pinches of sandalwood powder added, for
drinking.

Take ½ cup carrot juice daily for 1 week to ease the dysentery.

Drink pomegranate juice, or boil 60gms pomegranate rind in 250 grams until one-third has evaporated.
Take in 3 equal doses several hours apart when afflicted with dysentery.

Half teaspoon dry ginger powder to be taken in 1 cup buttermilk 3-4x daily to improve the dysentery
condition.

Swallow one teaspoon lemon juice with 2 pinches salt added in a cup of warm water 4x a day.

Slice a few lemons with the peels and boil in 250ml water for a few minutes. Strain and take the
mixture 3x daily.

Mix a pinch of black pepper, 3 tablespoons curd, 6-8 chopped basil leaves and ¼ sea salt. Take it 4-5x
in a week.

Add 3-4 cups water to a grated papaya, and boil for 10 minutes. Strain before drinking and finish
the filtered part throughout the day.

Squeeze ½ lemon in half a cup of warm milk and drink.

Drink a mixture of ½ teaspoon lemon and ginger juices and ¼ pepper powder.

Take a cup of buttermilk with 1-2 teaspoon juice of coriander leaves added 2-3x daily.

Chew with a little salt 2-3 pieces of the inner flesh of pomegranate.

Pound till fine 5 - 10 dates. Add 1 teaspoon of the powder in 1 glass hot water. Drink 2x daily.

Avoid all kinds of flesh foods, tea, coffee, white sugar, white flour and white flour products, alcohol
even in minute amounts, so as not to aggravate the dysentery.
