Gastritis

Gastritis is inflammation of the stomach lining.

  • Drink a mixture of the juices 200 ml. spinach and 300 ml carrot.
  • Take rice gruels for acute gastritis as it induces more gastric juice.
  • Boil 3-4 dates in 1 glass goat's milk. Take it everyday, or add 1-2 pitted (take the seeds out) dates to ¼ - ½ cup glass goats' milk or cow's milk and drink 2x a day.
  • Slice 2-4 pieces of chicken gizzard thinly, then dry out in the sun. Once dried, pound it to make powder. Add the powder to 1 glass hot water and drink 2-3x a day.
  • Take ginger, in food or ginger tea.
  • Take slightly-ripe papayas (and seeds) and pineapples.
  • Grate a 1-inch fresh turmeric root and squeeze for its juice, then mix with 3 teaspoons honey and 1 whole egg. Drink 2x a week. Alternatively, without the honey, mix the turmeric juice with 1 egg-yolk. Blend well, then drink 1x for a few days.
  • Munch on a clove of garlic 2x daily for 3 days.
  • Boil 5-6 cloves in 1 cup water (without sugar) and drink when warm.
  • Drink plenty of water to reduce and prevent gastritis.
  • Consume vitamin E to reduce stomach inflammation due to gastritis.
  • Other measures : Avoid mixing too many foods at the same meal and eating hurriedly. Avoid constipation. Apply a hot pack over the stomach 2x daily during the day two hours after meals on an empty stomach to improve gastritis. Avoid mental and physical stress, taking up breathing exercises and light exercises such walking and swimming.
