The immune system is the body's defense system against infections and other diseases.

  • Take adequate carbohydrate and protein. Include in meals lentils, wholegrain bread and brown rice which are good sources of minerals to boost the immune system.
  • Eat lots of raw and lightly-steamed vegetables such as asparagus, broccoli, brussels sprouts, carrots, cauliflower, garlic, mushrooms, onion, sweet peppers and pumpkin when afflicted with infection to boost the immune system.
  • Take 1 tablespoon of blackseed day and night to improve the immune system.
  • Take 1 tablespoon honey sprinkled with powdered cinnamon daily to strengthen the immune system and protect the body from bacteria and viral attacks.
  • Take garlic and ginger to boost the immune system.
